This is one of ours on Eaves Lane, Woodplumpton. We spent many an hour on this for an amazing client who put their heart and soul… and wallet into it. It’s been finished by others, but kudos as it’s looking great!

Bit of rural contemporary! With Eco Design Principles from the ICF #Nudura construction method (Insulated Concrete), through to highly insulated glazing and roofs. The views are stunning to the west out the rear, and the lucky residents have an open plan living space to die for, with a very cool open vaulted stair at the entrance.

The standing seam zinc finish to the features externally look great! Highlighting the form and contrasting timelessly against the white render system.

Mixture of being Grateful for winning a project for University of Lancashire, lessons learned on Bio Diversity Net Gain credits / certificate via Joe Blooms on the Planning Portal, Ommissions / Losses with our amazing Beatriz Pereira T. Flying the next next week! But with Wins and Gains with two new employees starting over the next two weeks.

Our studio is at 44 Ormskirk Road in Preston with some of our Machined Furniture on show, along with our Project Collab multidisciplinary team, providing cost consultancy with The QS co. And MBS Building Surveying.

Our Manchester base is at the awesome new Department Campfield! What a place it is! Photos of our space coming soon.

Planning Approval unlocked for this heritage gem in Maidenhead for a family friend. Tricky work to convince the Conservation Officer, but we got there! Traditional frontage with a modern rear garden facing intervention.

The extension at ground floor absolutely transforms the kitchen space, creating a large open plan living space with a feature Atrium rooflight, window seat bay and tall wide sliding doors.

The first floor extensions provide a luxurious master bedroom with walk in wardrobe and ensuite that has a bath with a view!

We are now detailing up the Building Regs package in readiness for Tender.

Planning permission granted for our replacement apartments on Lancaster Road. Creating a full regenerative scheme to modern housing standards, communal spaces and aesthetic uplift. When I was growing up I knew this site as the former Royal Lancaster Pub. Over the years it has been used as a homeless shelter and affordable bedsits. We hope this will introduce a positive impact on the street scene.

Great work by @letsgrowpreston at the @foxtonyouthlink - I visited yesterday and the planting areas are looking great! What a difference it has made to the area. Remembering the hard up brick and barb wire barrier that the former building presented to the streets eitherside.

I met so many great people too. We did a guided Breathwork session to music in the Valley, learnt about the Archetypes and in particular the ‘Rebel’. Followed by the freshest of cold water dips in the Coppermines Waterfall at Coniston!

We took a group of enthusiastic and passionate people from cross sectors on a Tour of Preston. Focusing on the ‘empty buildings and vacant sites’. Which followed on nicely from our Inbetween Places event with Blog Preston and Preston Partnership. We started off the tour at the great @jonahs.coffee on Hope Street!

We discussed the opportunities and we captured the essence of many of the buildings and spaces through photos and sketches.

It’s clear there is so much regeneration potential! for businesses, individuals, Developers, authorities and communities.

Next step: target specific sites / buildings of interest and assess viability through feasibility studies. Test the market and help inspire!

I feel this is our duty as Architects and people of Preston!
