Planning permission granted for our replacement ap

Planning permission granted for our replacement apartments on Lancaster Road. Creating a full regenerative scheme to modern housing standards, communal spaces and aesthetic uplift. When I was growing up I knew this site as the former Royal Lancaster Pub. Over the years it has been used as a homeless shelter and affordable bedsits. We hope this will introduce a positive impact on the street scene.

Great work by @letsgrowpreston at the @foxtonyouthlink - I visited yesterday and the planting areas are looking great! What a difference it has made to the area. Remembering the hard up brick and barb wire barrier that the former building presented to the streets eitherside.

Good design and planting goes hand in hand for experience and welcoming you to a place.

I met so many great people too. We did a guided Breathwork session to music in the Valley, learnt about the Archetypes and in particular the ‘Rebel’. Followed by the freshest of cold water dips in the Coppermines Waterfall at Coniston!

Fabrication of the steel trusses bridge sections are also underway in Harrison Engineers workshop in East Lancashire! Great Structural Engineering by @dysestructural

We recently exhibited at Design Festival North in Liverpool, at Content aside of Caines Brewery / Baltic Market. The after party was in Box Park and overall it was a great way to connect and showcase some of our products.

Machined Furniture - Our bespoke Architectural Range of “no glues or screws” Furniture.

Machined Eco Homes - Our evolutionary modular range that provides an affordable single person module all the way through to a large family home with add ons! In the same way you would start with a base / affordable solution through to life’s luxuries.

Our aim: to expand our market and reach for architectural services, alongside products that we can provide eco conscious clients an alternative current mass products.

We took a group of enthusiastic and passionate peo

We took a group of enthusiastic and passionate people from cross sectors on a Tour of Preston. Focusing on the ‘empty buildings and vacant sites’. Which followed on nicely from our Inbetween Places event with Blog Preston and Preston Partnership. We started off the tour at the great @jonahs.coffee on Hope Street!

We discussed the opportunities and we captured the essence of many of the buildings and spaces through photos and sketches.

It’s clear there is so much regeneration potential! for businesses, individuals, Developers, authorities and communities.

Next step: target specific sites / buildings of interest and assess viability through feasibility studies. Test the market and help inspire!

I feel this is our duty as Architects and people of Preston!

Featuring amazing views of the garden through bi-folding doors. Along with an attractive kitchen Island and exposed original stone wall to the original rear elevation. The garden is stunning with its Acer Tree and Koy Carp pond!

What an amazing occasion! So pleased this project came together and today was the first time I ‘felt it’. Seeing young people from Avenham and even my own, enjoying the spaces!
The stories from Robert Binns really told a tale of the past, in how some of our successfull business people have grown from literally playing table tennis with friends in a safe place… to residentials and outings that the Foxton Centre Youth Workers take the children out on experiences! Through to feeding them and giving them career opportunities!

Great Wall Art by Shawn Sharpe too, collaborating with the youth forum.

Great job Jake Suthers MRICS for Project Managing, QS and CA! Jonathan Baron BEng(Hons) MCIBSE MIET for all the M&E design. Great visit to @matthew_marsden_furniture yesterday! Welcoming tour by the lovely @jenlwilson95 ! Their hospitality is second to none, they even have a drinks menu…

I was really impressed with the @subzerowolfuk stove, the @fisherandpaykel.indonesia draw Dishwasher (that’s a game changer) and Matthew Marsdens stunning 1929 range (that’s a contemporary option that I would personally choose for my future home for sure! - Loads of colour/texture options!

The workshop was busy and very organised, along with an impressive document managements system in use @mondaydotcom which has been rolled out to all the team in design and accounts all the way through to manufacturing!
