The extension features a fantastic Sauna ‘with a view’ looking over the garden. We worked with the fall in the land from house>garden by introducing ambient steps to a lower living space with aluminium sliding doors.
This telescopic cascading form of the extension was contrasted from SIP (structurally insulated panels) and the fabricator David Colville also cleverly created the kitchen drawers, cabinetry and pantry storage from plywood, with intricate finger recesses.
